I matriculated at Niagara U.from '47 to '51 - spent weekends @ Cornell U. where Franchot was still well regarded 25 years after graduating

I saw Barbara Payton in the movie "Bride of the
Gorilla" with Lon Chaney Jr and Raymond Burr made in 1951 and thought she was great and talented. She seems to glow in the dark like Marilyn Monroe.--- I wanted to know more about Barbara, her life and her films. What John O' Dowd discovered really shocked and sadden me. Such
potential gone to waste. I will always wonder why
Hollywood talent always self-destruct. But i will
always like Barbara Payton. I wish someone had helped her.---
