My favorite (movie w/her starring) is being shown tonight on TCM: The Haunting. One of the reasons, I believe, (that the story is brought out best by a talented female) is that the story is written by another talented female: Shirley Jackson. The whole thing hits me so hard every time I see it, and I thank the ladies for that. The remakes are limpid. "Look, I know the supernatural is something that's not supposed to happen, but it does happen." And other things that aren't supposed to happen, happen, as well... Thank you, Ms. Claire, for a marvelous show!!!!! Ms. Bloom is one of the best actresses I've ever seen.
