If only other drunks were as beautiful and charming as she is in this movie.

The best moment in Nothing Sacred is Carole Lombard's drunken scene. And I am quite forgiving of these types of films.
I think I prefer 'What Price Hollywood?' over any version of 'A Star is Born', though the 1937 is my favorite of those with that title.
I think March is excellent in 'Middle of the Night', though the sometimes-noted similarities to a Willy Loman performance are definitely there.
All and all, Fredric March is one of my favorites. I do prefer his lighter, comedic work, however.

Mamoulian uncharacteristically fails to bring life to 'We Live Again', one of the worst prestige productions of the 1930s I have had the misfortune to view. And repressed sex at that. Thanks for the Post. Fredric March was one the the finest actors ever.
