Nearly 120 Oscar nominees (above, res. 5100×2400) gathered at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, on Monday, February 2, 2009, for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences‘ 2009 Nominees Luncheon.

   I’m glad Mickey Rourke went home empty-handed. Even that nomination was more than the new Rocky deserved.
   We don’t need any more Rockys!
   We’ve never needed any Rockys.
