Robert Pattinson’s REMEMBER ME Poster

Robert Pattinson, Emilie de Ravin in Remember Me

I don't know if Remember Me will be any good, but I gotta say that I'm looking forward to checking it out. Besides Robert Pattinson, the Allen Coulter movie has Emilie de Ravin, Chris Cooper, Lena Olin, and Martha Plimpton, and it was co-written by Jenny Lumet of Rachel Getting Married, the movie that earned Anne Hathaway an Academy Award nomination. It'll be interesting to see if Pattinson gets the sort of raves that greeted Ben Affleck when Coulter's Hollywoodland came out a couple of years ago.

In Remember Me, Pattinson plays a rebellious youth at odds with his father (Pierce Brosnan) following the suicide of the young man's brother. De Ravin is the free-spirited girl he meets and falls in love with, though her father (Cooper) turns out to be an obstacle to their happiness.

I found the new poster released by Summit Entertainment very classy. Also, the emphasis on Pattinson is obvious; he's right in the center, and de Ravin has about half of her face blocked by his. The romantic drama opens in early March.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and/or Taylor Lautner are nowhere to be found on this The Twilight Saga: Eclipse poster, but it doesn't really matter here. If the film is as atmospheric as the design of the poster, it'll be the best installment of The Twilight Saga franchise so far. In addition to the three principals, Eclipse features Billy Burke, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Anna Kendrick (of Up in the Air), Bryce Dallas Howard, Dakota Fanning, and Academy Award nominee Catalina Sandino Moreno (Mary Full of Grace).

David Slade directed this one. Among his credits are Hard Candy, which earned Ellen Page and Patrick Wilson some good notices, and the horror thriller 30 Days of Night, with Josh Hartnett and Melissa George. Slade has said that Eclipse will be darker than previous Twilight movies, and I sure hope so. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse opens in late June.

Why is there nothing about Rob's indie film Bel Ami when you click on his name? Release dates are starting to be announced, it's all over Twitter, and you don't mention a word about this film. The last time you mentioned it was April 2010.

Rai Cinema said in a conference press that Bel Amì in Italy is to be released in the period between fall 2011 and winter 2012.

Greece has issued a poster for Bel Ami:

I don't like Rob with her. He looks very handsome in this poster however, Kristen is the only one for him.

Remember Me is an unforgettable story about the power of love, the strength of family, and the importance of living passionately and treasuring every day of one’s life.
