Robert Pattinson discusses his attraction to the Remember Me screenplay and talks about acting opposite Pierce Brosnan on a couple of videos posted on the Remember Me Facebook page.
Remember Me, the story of a troubled young man at odds with his wealthy father (Brosnan) and who falls in love with an extroverted young woman (Emilie de Ravin), will open in the United States on March 12. Allen Coulter directed from a screenplay by Will Fetters. Jenny Lumet (best known for Rachel Getting Married) came onboard later on to rewrite some of Fetters' material. According to reports, Remember Me will have its New York premiere on March 1 because Pattinson would be unable to travel to the US at a later date due to schedule conflicts.
Next month, he begins shooting Bel Ami, in which he has the title role as Guy de Maupassant's amorous social climber. Others in the cast of Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod's period drama are Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman, and Kristin Scott Thomas.
On June 30, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse opens. Pattinson will once again be paired with Kristen Stewart, who has recently made waves at the Sundance Film Festival, and Taylor Lautner.
Pattinson has also been linked to Water for Elephants, in which he'd play a former veterinary student who joins the circus. Reese Witherspoon is set to star, while Sean Penn has been mentioned as a possible co-star.
Despite lots of rumors to the contrary, Spider-Man 4 doesn't seem at all likely at this stage. Perhaps it never was.
