Well, okay, Reds and Bonnie and Clyde. But still...... He's the guy in Promise Her Anything, Lilith, The Only Game in Town, the dreadful Shampoo, The Parallax View, Ishtar, and that last one that was such a monumental flop that he hasn't had the guts to make another movie since. Why not give a tribute to someone like Lauren Bacall or Joan Fontaine? Or even his sister, Shirley MacLaine? Does Warren Beatty really deserve a tribute?

There are "heartfelt," teary-eyed speeches about the greatness of the honoree, and little stupid jokes that are as funny as capital punishment. But then again, after stuffing their faces and having a few drinks mixed with a few pills and/or powder, people will always find ways to enjoy themselves. Even if those hypocrites must laugh at the idiotic jokes and applaud the dishonest, mind-numbing speeches. How very human...
