Yimou’s latest & Women in Sana’a

Xinhuanet reports that Zhang Yimou’s latest film has opened domestically (read: in China) on Dec. 17. Qian li zou dan ji / Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles, which premiered at the Tokyo International Film Festival, tells the story of a Japanese fisherman who travels to China’s Yunnan Province to unveil the secret of a local opera play.
