War of the Worlds; Johnny Depp in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the seven films in consideration for best visual effects for the 2006 Academy Awards.
They are:
Batman Begins
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
King Kong
Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith
War of the Worlds
