American Film Institute (AFI) Top Ten American Films
December 12th, 2005 by Andre Soares
The American Film Institute (AFI) has chosen their top American films of 2005: Brokeback Mountain, Capote, Crash, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Good Night, and Good Luck., A History of Violence, King Kong, Munich, The Squid and the Whale, and Syriana.
(I’d like to think that the inclusion of The 40-Year-Old Virgin in the AFI’s list was typographical error.)
National Board of Review 2005 winners
Los Angeles Film Critics Association 2005 winners
New York Film Critics Online 2005 winners
Complete list of winners and nominees for the 2005 European Film Awards
