30th César Awards - 2004
The 30th César du Cinéma winners were announced at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris on February 26, 2005. Gad Elmaleh acted as Host (Maître de cérémonie) and Isabelle Adjani as President of the ceremony (Président de la cérémonie).

Abdel Kechiche’s L’Esquive was the surprise winner at the 30th César du Cinéma ceremony. Set at a Parisian housing project filled with immigrants and their children, Kechiche’s low-budget film follows a withdrawn teenager (Osman Elkharraz) with artistic aspirations.
