Chicago Film Critics Association 2005 Awards

Brokeback Mountain has received 8 nominations for the Chicago Film Critics Association 2005 Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director (Ang Lee) and Best Actor (Heath Ledger). Capote, Crash, Good Night, and Good Luck., and A History of Violence were the other
Best Picture nominees. Best Foreign-Language Film nominees include Wong Kar Wai’s 2046, Michael Haneke’s Caché / Hidden, and Oliver Hirschbiegel’s Der Untergang / Downfall. Steven Spielberg’s Munich received only one nod, for Best Director.
