Hak seh wui aka Election (2005) directed by Johnnie To (aka Johnny To), starring Tony Leung Ka Fai, Simon YamVia GreenCine Daily: The Hong Kong Film Critics Society has picked Johnnie To’s Election as the best film of 2005, calling it "a ripe masterpiece in the Hong Kong-style mobster film genre." To was chosen Best Director, while Tony Leung Ka-fai was Best Actor for emitting "the tirelessness of an obsessional crush, whether it’s a sentimental monologue or a caring eye expression" in Everlasting Regret, and Zhou Xun was Best Actress for her "fine eye expressions and rich body language" in Perhaps Love.
