		<description>I wonder why they have their choices made in two steps, nominations and then winners&#039; announcement. perhaps that&#039;s make them more important, by getting them more p.r.?
If so, perhaps American critics should do the same. Los Angeles and New York critics could announce their nominees in early December and have their winners announced in early February or January. Or would that screw up the Oscar-influencing schedule?</description>
