Michelle Monaghan, who starred opposite Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible III and who at one point was touted as a potential awards contender for Trucker (above), and NCIS: Los Angeles star Chris O'Donnell, perhaps best known for playing Robin opposite George Clooney's Batman in Batman Forever, will join Screen Actors Guild president Ken Howard to announce the nominees for the 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards.
The SAG Award nominations in five film and eight television categories will take place at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET on Thursday, Dec. 17, in the SilverScreen Theater at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. The nominations announcement will be telecast live on TNT and webcast live on TNT.TV and TBS.COM.
Nominations for the SAG awards for film and television stunt ensembles will also be announced on Dec. 17, at 5:50 a.m. by SAG Awards Committee Chair JoBeth Williams (remember her in Poltergeist and The Big Chill?) and Vice Chair Daryl Anderson and will be webcast live on TNT.TV and TBS.COM.
The SAG Awards ceremony will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, at 8 p.m. ET, 7 p.m. CT, 6 p.m. MT, from the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles. The usual ridiculous three-hour delay for the West Coast — the show will start at 8p.m. PT — will continue.
