Oscar 07 Makeup Longlist

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the longlist of seven films up for the 2006 makeup Academy Award.
They are:
Apocalypto
Click
El Laberinto del fauno / Pan’s Labyrinth
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest
The Prestige
The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause
X-Men The Last Stand
On Saturday, Jan. 20, the Academy’s Makeup Award Nominating Committee will view ten-minute excerpts from each of the listed films. Following the screenings, members will vote to nominate three films for Oscar consideration.
Nominations for the 79th Academy Awards will be announced on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 5:30 a.m. PST in the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.
The Academy Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, Feb. 25 at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center.
