Oscar 2010: Danette Herman – Oscar Ceremony Coordinating Producer



Danette HermanDanette Herman will serve as coordinating producer for the 2010 Academy Awards, telecast producers Adam Shankman and Bill Mechanic have announced.

According to the Academy's press release, Herman "Herman has served in various capacities on the Academy Awards telecast for more than 30 years.  She served as co-producer for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ inaugural Governors Awards, held in November 2009, and subsequently completed her duties as coordinating producer for 'The 32nd Kennedy Center Honors.'"  

The 2010 Academy Award nominations will be announced on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at 5:30 a.m. PT in the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

The 2010 Academy Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center. In the US, it'll be televised live by ABC.
