As much as I like and respect Meryl Streep, I hope that Anne Hathway will take home the Oscar. Sean Penn is my pick for best actor. Heath Ledger for best supporting actor (nothing "monotonous" about his performance, as far as I'm concerned). Penelope Cruz for best supporting actress. For best Picture? Milk. Slumdog Millionaire a close second. I found it repetitious, illogical, and poorly written. Lots of explosions and quick editing seemed to take in the crowds. I couldn't wait for it to end.
