Sandra Bullock, the Jonas Brothers, TRANSFORMERS: Razzie Award Winners

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Sandra Bullock, Michael Bay, and Kevin Jonas, Nick Jonas, and Joe Jonas were the rock-bottom winners at the 2010 Razzie Awards. Billy Ray Cyrus pulled an upset victory, defeating Robert Pattinson in the Worst Supporting Actor category. [See Sandra Bullock at the Razzies ceremony.]

It's not that Pattinson (in the running for The Twilight Saga: New Moon) was worse than Cyrus, or even that he should have landed a Razzie nomination to begin with. But considering the popularity of the Twilight Saga star, it seemed almost inevitable that he'd have come out on top — or at the bottom, as the case may be. Cyrus won for his non-performance in Hanna Montana: The Movie, co-starring his daughter, Worst Actress nominee Miley Cyrus.

Less surprising was Sandra Bullock's victory as the year's Worst Actress. In fact, that was no surprise at all. Bullock is the odds-on favorite to win the Oscar tomorrow for The Blind Side; how could Razzie voters resist choosing her as the year's Worst Actress for All About Steve? If Bullock does indeed win tomorrow, the Razzies will forever be a part of Oscar lore and history.

See, it's all a popularity contest — and quite a bit of self-promotion. Just like the Oscars.

Also, Bullock and All About Steve co-star Bradley Cooper, one of the stars of the popular The Hangover and Valentine's Day, shared the Razzie for Worst Couple.

The braindead box-office blockbuster Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the #2 hit movie of 2009 after James Cameron's Avatar, was the year's Worst Movie. The Transformers sequel also earned well-deserved Razzies for director Michael Bay and screenwriters Ehren Kruger, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman.

Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas won the joint Worst Actor Razzie for the box-office flop Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience. Sienna Miller was the Worst Supporting Actress for G.I. Joe.: Rise of the Cobra, while Will Ferrell's Land of the Lost got the Razzie for Worst Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel.

And finally, John Travolta's science-fiction Battlefield Earth was voted the Worst Movie of the Decade. Paris Hilton and Eddie Murphy had the (dis)honor of being named the decade's Worst Actress and Worst Actor, respectively.
