Winners at the Sarasota Film Festival include Kelly Reichardt’s Old Joy as Best Narrative Film and Peter Richardson’s Clear Cut: The Story of Philomath, OR., as best documentary feature.

Assyriska: A National Team Without a Nation (2005), directed by Nuri Kino and Erik SandbergWinners at the Beverly Hills Film Festival include Golden Palm winner Nuri Kino and Erik Sandberg’s Assyriska: A National Team Without a Nation and Eugenio Cappuccio’s Verso la luna con Fellini / Towards the Moon with Fellini. The former film is episode III of a five-part documentary about Sweden’s Assyriska soccer team, which is composed of ethnic Assyrians; the latter film is a documentary portraying Federico Fellini on the set of his La Voce della luna.
