Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart in Twilight (Summit Entertainment)
The Hurt Locker? Carey Mulligan? Jeremy Renner? The White Ribbon?
If the Academy decides to listen to The People, they might want to find ways to nominate instead Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey, Taylor Lautner, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Ashton Kutcher, Daniel Radcliffe, Miley Cyrus, and Ellen DeGeneres. And make sure to bring Bela Lugosi back from the dead. Or at least have a blood-sucking musical number or two on the 2010 Oscar show. (As opposed to the usual musical numbers that merely suck.)
Vampires ruled at the People's Choice Awards, held earlier this evening at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. The Twilight Saga was the big winner among motion pictures, while HBO's True Blood and CW's The Vampire Diaries came out victorious in a couple of television categories. Mariah Carey herself looked like she'd been bitten right before accepting her best R&B singer trophy, whereas hostess Queen Latifah looked about ready to bite someone.
Twilight won four awards: favorite movie, favorite franchise, favorite on-screen team for vampire Robert Pattinson, human Kristen Stewart, and werewolf Taylor Lautner, the very dapper winner of the breakout male actor award.
I really feel disappointed seeing the name of Daniel Radcliffe related with nominations of these rubbish and garbage awards. I do not take seriously any award including the Nobel Peace Prize
Shows like these should be banned for giving awards to Twilight. The only awards Twilight deserves are Golden Raspberry Awards.
favorite franchise?… what's that?????… I voted for McDonald's
