2005 Irish Film & Television Awards Winners: November 5, 2005
("*" denotes the winner in each category)

I’ve finally added a list of the 2005 winners at the Irish Film & Television Awards. Best Picture was Pavee Lackeen, a study of poverty in modern Ireland as seen through the eyes of a young girl and her family. Best Director was Terry George for the African genocide drama, Hotel Rwanda (which also brought George the Best Screenplay Award). Liam Neeson was chosen Best Actor for the biographical drama Kinsey, while the Best Actress Award went to Renee Weldon for Trouble with Sex.
