With $20 million, Sandra Bullock's The Blind Side did indeed lead the pack at the domestic box office last weekend, earning nearly $5 million — or about 30% — more than The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Robert Pattinson's vampire, Kristen Stewart's teen, and Taylor Lautner's werewolf had to settle for the second spot after three weeks at the top.

Among other box-office news were the results for five new movies:

With $9.5 million, Brothers did reasonably well, but both Armored and Everybody's Fine were disappointments, the former with $6.5 million and the latter with a mere $3.8 million (or $1,806 per screen average — less than half of the New Moon figure).

At #21, Transylmania was a minor disaster, with only $263,000 total or $262 per screen.

The one real success story was Up in the Air, with more than $78,000 per screen (total of 15 screens).

There is simply 1 (One) reason why New Moon is 2nd – Not that Blind Side is not an excellent movie – but in NO WAY would NM be 2nd now except for… regardless of the love triangle Summit & Melissa Rosenberg STILL DON'T GET IT- why we love the T Saga, why we waited with bated breath….and what they didn't provide….

IT'S EDWARD & BELLA STUPID, IT'S EDWARD & BELLA, PERIOD.
