BUTTERFLY Irks Convicted Cannibal
by Andre Soares
In the Hollywood Reporter, Scott Roxborough writes that Armin Meiwes, who was sentenced to eight-and-a-half years in prison for eating a man he met online, is trying to prevent the release of Martin Weisz’s Butterfly: A Grimm Love Story. Meiwes claims the horror film is based on his life. Butterfly follows a graduate student (Keri Russell) as she becomes obsessed with the online cannibal community upon meeting an incarcerated cannibal (Thomas Kretschmann, last seen as the boat captain in King Kong). The film is scheduled to open in German theaters on March 9. Via Reuters.

Sounds like Butterfly: A Grimm Love Story would be an ideal half for a double bill with Keri Russell’s Waitress.
Well, I haven’t seen “Butterfly,” but it does sound like a good idea indeed.
I just checked the IMDb. The cannibal’s release title is “Rohtenburg.”
