BARBARY COAST on DVD

On March 8, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer is releasing the Region 1 DVD of the 1935 Samuel Goldwyn production Barbary Coast, directed by Howard Hawks (and an uncredited William Wyler), and starring Miriam Hopkins, Edward G. Robinson, and Joel McCrea.
Set in San Francisco in the 1850s, this 90-minute, black-and-white drama has at its center a love triangle involving a beauty from the East Coast (Hopkins), a ruthless casino owner (Robinson), and a good-looking miner (McCrea).
Cinematographer Ray June was nominated for an Academy Award.
The DVD offers the following:
- Aspect ratio: 1.33:1
- Audio tracks in English (Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono), French (Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono), and Spanish (Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono)
- Subtitles in English, French, and Spanish
