BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN Clip
April 12th, 2008 by Andre Soares
A bit of Communist propaganda, courtesy of Sergei Eisenstein’s 1925 classic Bronenosets Potyomkin / Battleship Potemkin. Considered by many one of the greatest — if not the greatest — film ever made, Battleship Potemkin is best remembered for the "Odessa Steps" expressionist montage sequence.
The propaganda is so effective that the film was, at some time or other, banned in numerous countries, from Brazil to South Korea.
Clip posted by norben. Accompanied by Led Zeppelin’s "Stairway to Heaven."
You might want to turn the sound off.

I know this is supposed to be great and all, but i think it’s all very overrated. It’s all too exaggerated. I didn’t feel sorry for any of those people not even for that baby.
