I really really enjoyed Chop Shop, especially for the reason that Ramin spoke of - this is a film that is situated in the reality of the way that most of the world lives. Most of the world's stories happen in places like this. These places are not make-believe and movies like this remind me of that. The relationship of the siblings that is brought to life in this movie is much more precious than those found in the Hollywood movie offices. Bravo Ramin Bahrani.

Nice interview – thanks to Alt Film Guide and Ramin Bahrani.
