I didn't find anything to suggest that he was bisexual, which only means the question remain unanswered. The fact that they worked so well together on The Razor's Edge and Nightmare Alley at least suggests that they were quite sympatico. I have communicated with a gentleman in England who may be a cousin once or twice removed to Eddie, since Eddie's father had many siblings. I could try to connect the two of you.
