Roman Polanski to Receive European Academy Award

Actor, director, producer, and screenwriter Roman Polanski, 73, will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s European Film Awards ceremony, to be held in Warsaw on December 2.
As per an European Film Academy announcement, the French-born and Polish-raised director of Nóz w wodzie / Knife in the Water, Repulsion, Rosemary’s Baby, and Chinatown has created "some of the most unforgettable moments in cinema."
