Steven Soderbergh’s Bubble Causes a Stir

"Hollywood executives searching for “the next big thing” have descended on Park City, Utah, this weekend for the Sundance Film Festival, a showcase for independent cinema. But one of the boldest experiments is set to unfold far away from the festivities, next Friday night in Texas.
"That is when 2929 Entertainment, the Dallas company founded by internet entrepreneurs Todd Wagner and Mark Cuban, will release [Steven Soderbergh's] Bubble, the first film to be distributed simultaneously in theatres and by video-on-demand.
