RELIGULOUS Clip
by Andre Soares
Directed by Larry Charles of Borat fame, from a screenplay by Bill Maher — who is also the on-camera narrator and interviewer — Religulous takes a critical look at the world’s three major monotheist religions: Islam, Christianity, and Judaism.
The clip above is titled "You Help Run The Country and Do Not Believe in Evolution?" In it, Bill Maher asks Arkansas Senator Mark Pryor if he believes in evolution. Too bad US vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, who has "an openness" to having students "debate both sides" of evolution in schools (the other side being the Christian faux-science of creationism), wasn’t in the limelight then.
Religulous opens in the US theaters on October 3, 2008.
