Home Video has just released the Region 1 (U.S. / Canada) DVD of Etienne Faure’s In extremis / To the Extreme (2000), the story of a bisexual party boy who becomes a surrogate father to his recently deceased neighbor’s child. (Echoes of About a Boy?) The film stars Sébastien Roch, Julie Depardieu, and Jérémy Sanguinetti.

    There are similarities, yes, but In Extremis is not the same thing as About a Boy.
