In Good Company is a superficial but enjoyable look at the American way of doing business. If director-screenwriter Paul Weitz loses his nerve each time the movie tries to make a significant point about either corporate greed or human pathologies, stars Topher Grace and Dennis Quaid more than compensate for any of the film’s shortcomings. And although In Good Company falls short of its social
commentary goals, it still offers numerous genuinely poignant and funny moments.
