A PERFECT DAY Clip

Ferzan Ozpetek's Un giorno perfetto / A Perfect Day focuses on a recently separated couple, Emma (Isabella Ferrari) and Antonio (Valerio Mastrandea), whose lives take a dramatic turn one evening when shots are heard inside an apartment. Adapted by Ozpetek and four-time David di Donatello winner Sandro Petraglia from Melania Gaia Mazzucco's novel, A Perfect Day — which is up for the 2008 Venice Film Festival's Golden Lion — follows various disparate threads that will come together that fateful night. Also in the cast: Valerio Binasco, Nicole Grimaudo, Federico Costantini, and veteran Stefania Sandrelli.

By the way, Sandro Petraglia's David di Donatello wins were for My Brother Is an Only Child (2007), Crime Novel (2005), The Best of Youth (2004), and Il Portaborse (1991).
