Daniel Craig in QUANTUM SOLACE Trailer
Daniel Craig is back as James Bond in Quantum of Solace, directed by unlikely choice Marc Forster and written by Robert Wade, Neal Purvis, and Paul Haggis. The plot of the new Bond involves water supplies in an unnamed South American country, terrorists, the CIA, gay Martians, and horny women. Well, perhaps I’m mistaken about the gay Martians, but "exotic" locations, hot & bothered gals, mind-numbing action, and absurd plot developments will surely be a part of the fun (if you’re like most people) or the tediousness (if you’re like me) of it all. In spite of Judi Dench, I found the highly popular and generally well-received Casino Royale the very worst James Bond flick I’ve seen. And that’s saying a lot.
In any case, what makes me most curious about the upcoming Quantum of Solace is why they needed — at least — three writers to come up with the usual pathetic situations and cardboard characters. Now, that mystery should be made into a movie.
Below, I’ve included an obscene version of the film’s poster — one that is a perfect representation of the sick-fuck society in which we live.
Also in the Quantum of Solace cast: Mathieu Amalric, Olga Kurylenko, Jeffrey Wright, Gemma Arterton, Jesper Christensen, Joaquín Cosio, Giancarlo Giannini.
Quantum of Solace opens in the US on November 14.

they’re trying to make bond look manly. since they can’t show dick or erections, they show those long deadly weapons. silly, but people seem to go for that sort of stuff. and if it makes money, they’ll do it.
