LE MONDE SELON BUSH / THE WORLD ACCORDING TO BUSH Internet Lawsuit

The French production house Flach Film has taken legal action against Google for distributing William Karel’s 2004 made-for-TV documentary Le Monde selon Bush / The World According to Bush for free.
At a Paris commercial court, Flach Film has issued a writ against the U.S.-based Internet search engine and its French subsidiary, Google France, for copyright infringement.
Based on Eric Laurent’s bestseller, La Guerre des Bush, and written by Laurent and Karel, Le Monde selon Bush revolves around U.S. president George W. Bush’s administration, treading on territory similar to that of Michael Moore’s Cannes Festival winner Fahrenheit 9/11 (including a discussion of the Bushes’ ties to the Bin Laden family).
Before the opening credits of Le Monde selon Bush, Norman Mailer says: "We have the worst president in U.S. history. He’s arrogant. He’s stupid in all ways but one: He’s immensely shrewd about the American people, particularly the less intelligent half of America — they’re very happy with him because they realize how stupid he is and they say to themselves, ‘If that stupid guy can be president, so can I.’"
"If Michael Moore deserves one Palm d’Or," wrote Jean-Luc Douin in his film review for the Parisian daily Le Monde, "William Karel deserves three of them."
