50 Years of Korean Cinema

"50 Ans de Cinéma Coréen" (50 Years of Korean Cinema), a film festival that comprises 50 Korean-made feature films is currently being held at the Chaillot Palace in Paris. The event was organized by Jean-François Rauger of the Cinémathèque Française, with the assistance of the Centre Culturel Coréen en France.
Among the films being shown are, Jeong Chang-hwa’s A Swordsman in the Twilight (1967), Kim Ki-duk’s Bad Guy (2002), Kim Soo-yong’s The Fog (1967), Shin Sang-ok’s The Cruel History of Lee-Dynasty Women (1969), and The Evergreen Tree (1961).
