American Film Market 2005 - AFM 2005 in Santa Monica

According to the 26th American Film Market (AFM) organizers, this year’s market opened this morning in Santa Monica, Calif., "with a record number of exhibitors, buyers, screenings and market premieres." A record 419 companies from 33 countries will be presenting films at "the world’s largest motion picture trade event, including film and television companies, financial institutions, sponsoring organizations and trade media." Festival organizers expect more than 7,000 participants at the market.

Ellie Parker with Naomi Watts and Chevy Chase (Dream Entertainment, U.S.);

Entre Ses Mains with Benoît Poelvoorde and Isabelle Carré (Pathé Distribution, France);
