Best Actress (tie): Annette Bening (Being Julia, United Kingdom / Canada / Hungary / United States) and Anna Geislerová (Zelary, Czech Republic)

Best ASEAN Film: Mei li de xi yi ji / The Beautiful Washing Machine (Malaysia), directed by James Lee

Best International Documentary: Born into Brothels (United States / India), directed by Zana Briski and Ross Kauffman

Best ASEAN Short Film: Birthday (Singapore) directed by Bertrand Lee
