Grim Berlin

"A fatal road accident will provide a fitting start on Thursday to what critics say is a strong yet morbid Berlin Film Festival line-up featuring brutal murder, drug addiction, political corruption, exorcism and rape." Thus begins Philip Blenkinsop’s Reuters article, "Grim line-up for Berlin Film Festival." The Berlin festival opens this Thursday (Feb. 9) with a screening of Snow Cake, directed by Marc Evans, and starring Alan Rickman and Sigourney Weaver.
