THE LAST MOON in Havana

The Last Moon by Miguel Littin, starring Aymann Abuloff, Tamara Acosta, Alejandro Goic, Francisca Merino

“I’m currently writing a love story,” says Chilean director Miguel Littin (Actas de Marusia / Letters from Marusia). “It’s about a couple falling in love while the world burns. It’s set in the 1960s, a time when humankind was trembling: changes, revolutions, wars.” Frank Padrón interviews Littin, whose La Última luna / The Last Moon is being shown at the Havana International Film Festival. Set in 1914, La Última luna tells the stories of two Palestinian families, one that emigrates to Chile and one that stays in Palestine. Note: The Littin interview is in Spanish.
