Their journey becomes as much about how education works, as it is about where education leads. Based on the award-winning play that premiered at London’s prestigious National Theatre, the actors from the stage version also star in the film.
Nicholas Hytner was awarded the 2006 Tony Award for Best Director in a Play for the Broadway production of THE HISTORY BOYS and Richard Griffiths reprises his Tony-Award-winning role in the film.
