Rehoboth Beach Film Society Vs. Anti-Sex Police
December 29th, 2004 by Andre Soares
Sanity prevails (for a change): Delaware State Police and the state’s Attorney General have stated that the Rehoboth Beach Film Society did not violate any state obscenity laws during its November film festival.
A woman had complained to authorities that the festival had shown three films — Bear Cub (Cachorro), Sugar, and X, Y — containing explicit scenes of gay sex while there were children in other parts of the film complex.
The movies, however, were shown in an area apart from the main complex, and admissions were also kept separate.
