Vladimir Kott’s debut feature film, Mukha, tells the story of a teenage girl who must cope with the sudden reappearance of her father. Wong Kar Wai replaced the recently deceased Anthony Minghella as head of this year’s Shanghai Film Festival Jin Jue jury.
