Sundance 2006 Premieres

Among the Sundance 2006 Premieres worth checking out are Wim Wenders’s Best European Film Award nominee Don’t Come Knocking, starring Sam Shepard (who also wrote the screenplay), Jessica Lange, and Eva Marie Saint; Finn Taylor’s The Darwin Awards, about
the investigation of a potential winner of the aforementioned award, given to "those who accidentally kill themselves in really stupid ways"; Isabel Coixet’s The Secret Life of Words, which stars Sarah Polley, Tim Robbins, Julie Christie, and Javier Cámara in a tale about a nurse caring for a man suffering from severe burns; and Michel Gondry’s The Science of Sleep, with Gael García Bernal and Miou Miou, the story of a man who tries to gain control of his dreams.
