THE CONSTANT GARDENER at the 2005 London Film Festival

The Constant Gardener will open the Times/bfi London Film Festival on October 19.
Directed by Fernando Meirelles, nominated for a Best Director Academy Award for Cidade de Deus / City of God last year, the suspense thriller stars Ralph Fiennes, Rachel Weisz, Bill Nighy, and Danny Huston, and it is based on John Le Carre’s novel about a man who uncovers a vast conspiracy while searching for the truth behind his wife’s mysterious murder.
This year’s London festival will screen 280 films from 60 countries. The full schedule will be announced on September 14.
