HELP WANTED

The Alternative Film Guide has been receiving 500,000 unique visits per month. That’s nearly five times the number of visits this blog was getting a year ago.
Our contributors can’t cope with all the DVDs, festivals, press screening invitations, etc. coming their way. To put it simply: Our overworked scribes need HELP.
The Alternative Film Guide is looking for individuals who’d like to contribute film articles, essays, news bits, interviews/Q&A’s, go to press screenings (mostly in the Los Angeles area), or review DVDs.
At least for the time being, there’s no pay — but you will get to go to free screenings, have free access to film festivals (in the US or elsewhere, whenever press passes are available), and free DVDs.
If interested, please send three or four samples of your work, along with a note telling a little about yourself and explaining why you’d like to contribute to the Alternative Film Guide to: editor at altfg dot com
