Sundance Institute’s 2008 Independent Producers Conference

The Sundance Institute's 23rd Annual Independent Producers Conference will take place from July 31–August 3, 2008.

As per the Sundance Institute's press release, this year the conference "will focus on developments in the independent arena and explore the growing divisions and contradictions between mainstream and independent filmmaking. During this intensive weekend of panels, small group sessions, and one-on-one opportunities with some of the best minds in the independent film business, participants will delve into topics including marketing, distribution, finance, the elusive art of pitching and the overall changing climate of independent film production."

To apply for the Independent Producers Conference, go to www.sundance.org/ipc or email producers@sundance.org for more information.
