It also bothered me that the movie ended without an end tie to some events, like Dieter&#039;s engagement.  One area that I do disagree with Dan, is the subject matter regarding Dieter&#039;s pre-POW days.  Although that would probably be an interesting area to dive into, by doing just that and diving in, the story would be sidetracked and drawn away from the rest of the story.  Would it make a good story?
