AIRPLANE! Screening



Airplane! (1980) directed by Jim Abrahams, David Zucker and Jerry Zucker, starring Robert Hays, Julie Hagerty, Peter Graves, Lloyd Bridges, Robert Stack, Leslie NielsenWriters/directors Jim Abrahams, David Zucker and Jerry Zucker and actor Robert Hays will be among the participants in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' cast and crew reunion and screening of the 1980 juvenile comedy Airplane! on Friday, May 19, at 8 p.m.

Academy Governor and producer Hawk Koch, whose father's company produced the film, will serve as host and moderator for the discussion. The event will be held at the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater.

Airplane! stars Robert Hays, Julie Hagerty, Lloyd Bridges, Peter Graves, Leslie Nielsen, Lorna Patterson, Robert Stack, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and includes an Ethel Merman cameo.

Tickets for Airplane! go on sale May 1 for $5 for the general public and $3 for Academy members. The may be purchased in advance at the Academy during regular business hours, by mail, or if still available on the night of the screening when the doors open at 7 p.m. The Academy is located at 8949 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills.
